I walked down the dimly lit hallway, the torch light glinting off my armour as it clanked softly. The door to the my quarters stood slightly ajar, and its guard dozing against the wall.
I cleared my throat and the guard came awake with a start.
"My Lord, I apologize it will nev-"
I waved a hand cutting him off, "I do not care for your ineptness, but I will let it go this time. See that it does not happen again."
"Yes, my Lord."
I walked through the door to the my quarters, wondering who had drugged the guard. The smell coming off his breath was a the smell of a small plant that grows around here.
The room was designed for my comfort, though rather plain, it appealed to me. There was a carpeted area missing in front of the door to allow it to open easily, but other than that it was a rich, dark, black carpet that extended to another door.
I walked past my 床, 床上 to this door, my office where I met dignitaries of other nations and races, was behind it.
I grabbed the handle and sighed, it was unlocked and someone was in there.
I walked through swiftly, taking in everything about the room instantly.
I drew my sword and stood waiting patiently, "Come out of the shadows, all five of you. I can hear you."
Slowly, five shapes rose out of the shadows and positioned themselves around me, drawing swords of their own.
Domackis I 说 under my breath and the darkness that clung to these figures, dispelled.
They wore deep, black cloaks with the 整流罩 thrown back to expose faces devoid of any emotion. They all looked exactly the same, like humans but paler.
"This is a place of neutrality, why are 你 here with swords drawn, uninvited."
Their eyes glowed red and the went to touch the figure in front of me. With a flash of black light the disappeared and left me with one. But he was different now.
I now looked upon the face of Quinly, Blood Price of Darkness, and heir to the 王座, 宝座 of Black.
He was also a Dark Angel.
"Please, my servents were a bit over zealous in summoning me, but there is no need for violence."
There were three factions in the world and two of them were fighting for control. The forces of White, 或者 Light, and the forces of Black, 或者 Darkness. They fought endlessly, always fighting to gain control, but neither could win without the third faction.
The third faction was my kingdom, we did not choose sides nor did we participate in the fighting. We were the Red, the neutral. And I was their King. Both sides always tried to sway me too their cause, but to choose one was to commit my forces to battle and blood, for that id need good cause. Something neither side had presented as yet.
"Well," I asked, "you going to tell me why 你 are here?"
"Indeed," he said, voice as smooth as silk, "We bring 你 gifts of a sort."
"What gifts?" I 说 suspiciously.
"We found some 狼 from another world, newly transformed as 你 are, wondering around the outskirts of our capital. They 说 they knew you, so my father thought they might be a nice
gift for you."
"Fine ill see these 狼 and determine if I know them if not then they are yours to do with as 你 will."
He licked his lips, a hungry look in his eyes, "Alright,"
He snapped his fingers and spread his black wings. Behind them were the five 狼 I had met in Jasper Park after the death of a close friend a couple of years ago.
A took a deep breath and turned back to Quinly.
"You gift is well recieved, I thank you."
With a disappointed look of a petulant child he bowed and disappeared.
I sat down behind my 台, 办公桌 and laid my sword upon it. As I did this the five wolves, now half-wolves, all started to talk at once.
I flicked my tail in anger and stared at them until they all quit talking.
"I will answer all your questions, after 你 explain to me why 你 came to this world. And please," I 说 gesturing to the snow-white wolf, "be a dear and remind of your names and how 你 came to remember mine."
She took a step forward, still a little uneasy on two legs.
"Well, my name is Lilly and this is Garth, my mate, my sister Kate, and her mate Humphrey, and their son Alec. We came here on accident while hunting, we stumbled into a cave while it was raining and walked through a portal, we tried to go back but it wouldnt let us. So we started to wonder until that thing and others flew in and grabbed us."
"I see, well then I extend my greetings and say, Welcome to Hell, enjoy your stay."
