Well 你 can do nothing about that exam its been and gone. All 你 can do is the best 你 can with any others. As for dealing with your grandma well I was once told 由 my cousin when I moaned about what grandma had 说 to me she 说 don't worry tell grandma what 你 think she wants to know instead of exactly whats happened so instead of telling her 你 did badly 或者 what ever simply tell her that 你 did ok 你 think 或者 something similar.
