My deepest apologies about your cat; I know what it's like to lose a kitty. I've been there and done that, and it's definitely not a great feeling. Although, I don't need to tell 你 something like that.
But I can tell 你 that 你 don't have to lament for long. It's hard, I know, but he/she is in a much better place. Your cat is now happy and healthy, and now gets the chance to take your former role: to watch over you. I'm sure you've done such a great job of taking care of your cat, he/she will now be able to return the favor to you. The presence may not be with 你 physically, but 你 may feel it spiritually. No one can really "leave" -- there will always be that feeling that they're still there with you, so don't feel so empty inside, alright?
