Sounds like quite the predicament, mi amiga. I've been in situations such as this, and it's always hard to see who is telling the complete truth.

Some people mean to tell the truth -- they really do try -- but their instinct makes them change the story either 由 a little 或者 a lot, depending on how much they don't want to get in trouble. It's like a child telling their parent the truth: if the parents are usually understanding, then they would most likely tell the whole truth. If their parents are the opposite, everything will be twisted. 你 can usually tell if people are lying, so sometimes you'll have to use observation and instinctive feelings to figure it out. Don't let yourself be swayed so easily 由 feelings, however; this can possibly lead to the wrong decisions.

Well, from what I'm being told here, it doesn't sound much like an accident. This is just my view, however, so make sure that 你 take that in mind. If her nose was blue and purple, as 你 have described, I don't think it was much of an accident. I've been hit plenty of times on accident, but no one has ever turned something of mine, such as my nose, any other color. Maybe red because of irritation and bodily harm, but that's all. It's good to have witnesses to tell 你 what happened; however, sometimes it's not as helpful as 你 think. The only thing that's going to work (from what I think, anyway) is confrontation. 你 need to take your 老友记 aside from each other and see what both of them say. If there's an inconsistency, try to see if 你 can find out who's lying and who's telling the truth.
