Right, so you might have had to endure Miley Cyrus wearing a vagina chandelier, and Justin Bieber\'s new hair might have ruined your life a bit with its strange floppy bit, but the MTV VMAs just took a magical turn thanks to 5SOS fans.

After weeks of constant voting, endless Twitter campaigning and even some small human sacrifices (might just be a rumour), 5SOS have been declared the winners of the Song of the Summer Award.

Awards relying on a vote system always result in fandoms going head to head in a brutal fight to the death (almost), but this time it\'s 5SOS who\'ve come out on top, earning themselves a brand new shiny moon man to go next to the 2014 one.

5SOS and the 5SOS fam beat off stiff competition from the likes of Fifth Harmony, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and loads more huge acts, but in the end it was \'She\'s Kinda Hot\' way out in front, after gathering a quite frankly mental amount of votes.
