@TheTimmeh Because I think the 动画片 is very bland and basic, the designs are generic and lame, the characters are either bland 或者 annoying but either way are stereotypes, the jokes are horrible, it has a lot of 随意 and stupid moments, a lot of plot points don't add up 或者 develop the characters 或者 the story, the story is pretty unfocused (though I hear it became 更多 focused in season 2), and no matter how interesting the mystery is that doesn't make up for it's problems. I will admit that the idea is an interesting concept. The idea of two kids going to a town where there is a HUGE mystery, they are surrounded 由 colorful characters, and come across paranormal creatures and elements is a great idea. But the execution is done poorly. The idea doesn't make up for any of its problems. But I'm trying not to step on too many toes because I know a lot of people really 爱情 this 显示 (for reasons that I don't get but to each their own). 一年多以前

^ I respect your opinion, but if 你 haven't seen season two at all, I highly suggest 你 give it another try. It gets a lot 更多 serious. The plot points don't seem to add up, but as the 显示 goes on they all tie in together. The background art for Gravity Falls is some of the best art for any tv animated show. I 爱情 that show, especially its 2nd season. It's funny, interesting, edgier than other animated 迪士尼 shows, and has great, memorable characters and a story line that has some great moments. I also like the 动画片 style and I 爱情 the setting and the fact that it is based on mystery. I like that it isn't afraid to be kind of dark at times but is always funny as well. I think it's one of the best made and most intelligently written animated shows at the moment. 一年多以前

@Kataralover, season 1 was fine but it was nothing compared to season two, it is quite fantastic. If 你 haven't seen it, check it out because the few people I know who didn't like it at first changed their minds after watching season 2. It gets 更多 serious, their are 更多 surprises, it becomes darker and funnier, and the characters begin to develop more. The last two episodes are particularly great.
