I thonk she got banished and went to ba sing se, 或者 something like that. I ALSO think THAT THEY SHOULDNT HAVE ENDED THE SERIES WITH A FRIKIN CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!! *grumble grumble* p.s. zuko is epic as is ursa(mom)

hehe, the cliffhanger was annoying. they should have made a fourth season in which zuko goes to find his mom, leaving iroh and aang to rule the 火, 消防 nation. iroh gets called away on white lotus disaster business and aang has to hold fort himself while trying to keep the rebellions down. the other benders still hate the firebenders due to their long suffering, and the fir nation still thinks they are superior. then ozai supporters free him from prison and azula gets her senses back and they try to reclaim the 火, 消防 nation. just when all hope seems lost, zuko returns with his mom and iroh brings all his lotus people, and the earthbenders, water tribe, 火, 消防 nation school, freedom fighters (with the exception of jet, smellerbee and longshot cuz they're dead) and kyoshi warriors come and save the day. azula changes after a touching reunion with her mom and ozai is sent back to jail. meanwhile, toph has a reunion with her parents and they see that she can take care of herself. everyone is happy! the end!
the truth is hidden in Ursa's hands. no one knows where she went. she have went to the water tribe 或者 the abandon air temples 或者 ba sing se. my best guess is that she went to ba sing se, the city of promis, fresh starts, and forgivness. i say she lays hidden behing the great walls.

i meant to put could after she. and insted of behing its behind. sorry. :)
I feel the need to explain things in my view before I say my answer.
Ozai 说 he banished her.. but why would the creators want it thrown out like that? I mean, these ARE the same people that hid Ozai's face for the last two seasons just to add affect. Besides, Ozai is deceptive, and could most likely tell a lie easily.
And when Zuko asked Ozai where his mother was, how would Ozai have known? If he banished her, she could be anywhere- thus the 问题 being pointless.
If she was banished, she could have told a person how Azulon really died. And when Zuko and Iroh's wanted posters went out, she wouldn't have just stood by.
If anything, she could be dead 或者 in prison. There, nothing would have been revealed. And banishment seems like a pretty mild punishment for killing the leader of their nation.
Besides, banishment seems too simple. Mike and Bryan don't normally make things simple- especially something in that nature.
i really hope she isn't dead. after everything went zuko went thorugh, that's the last thing i would want him to see is her grave. it would be extremly heartbreaking even for us. ursa's probably in ba seng sei if she is alive...
Yeah, I really was hanging for the answer to that. But I guess we may never know. Maybe he locked her away in some underground bunker, 或者 injected her with a serum that put her into a comma. Maybe he enlisted the help of a water bender to freeze her body in a state of cryogenics. Somehow erased all of her memories, and now lives with a nice 火, 消防 bending family,(or benders of other origin) under false pretences. The possibilities are endless. Perhaps General Iroh will be able to fill us in, 或者 Katara.
