It was hot as Hades. Maybe hotter.
The trio moved through the inferno, avoiding the flames that climbed the walls and dripped from the ceiling. The youngest of them dug her head deeper into her father's shirt. Squeezing her eyes shut, she concentrated in the sound of his beating heart, loud against her ear. Thump, thud. Thump, thud. Its rhythm was interrupted 由 a shudder as he coughed.

Riley kneeled before his only daughter. "I will always be with you. Both your mother and myself," he stood and looked sternly at both his children. "I 爱情 you. Now, watch each other." He turned to go, then paused and looked back, "Don't trust anybody." Then he sprinted into the burning house.
"Daddy!" the girl screamed. She ran toward the house, her vision blurred 由 tears.
"Ary, stop," her brother yelled after her. He reached her just as as the inferno exploded outward, throwing them back-
I shot up in bed, breathing hard. Shivering and soaked in sweat. For a moment, I was confused 由 my surroundings. 由 the sleeping girl 下一个 to me. Immunity I remembered, My bedroom
Looking around the dark room, I spotted the open window. Soundlessly, careful not to wake my dreaming roommate, I slid out of the comforter, crept to the window, and lowered the pane.

"Its over. It was only a nightmare" I breathed. Pulling my head up, I gazed out the window at the city lights. "It is only a memory."
