Norman Reedus’ Mom Loves Carol.

If you think you’re the biggest Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) fan (or the biggest Caryl fan for that matter) think again. It looks like someone very close to Norman Reedus’ (Daryl Dixon) heart might have you beat: his mother, Marianne Yarber!

Norman doesn’t talk about Mama Reedus all that much, but this past Sunday during The Walking Dead Season 5, Episode 6: “Consumed,” the woman who gave him life sent him a series of texts that were just too adorable not to share with the rest of the world.

The 45-year-old posted a screenshot of his conversation with his mother to Instagram, but we’ll take you through the highlights. Marianne gets things rolling when she texts her son to let him know that she thinks Episode 6 is “cool” and a series of smiley face and thumbs up emojis follow.

“Carol is really pretty,” Marianne writes, adding an “OK” emoji to drive her point home.

Not surprisingly, Norman agrees. “Ha”, he texts back. “Yes she is.”

“Is she single?” Norman’s mom wonders before the conversation cuts out.

Let’s just say now we know where Norman gets it from. And while he and Melissa might be wary of a Caryl hookup, it’s clear Marianne would totally be on board if it were to happen. You should listen to your mother, Norman!
