The Office to become one-hour show? 

that would be sweet i have seen the extended versions online and deleted scenes and should be on the final cut of the show. i am excited if this is actually true.

The reason why NBC is probably trying to do this is because of the many deleted scenes in The Office. Their are about ten full minutes of those, but an hour would be a bad thing. It's just too long of a time, like in The Negotiation episode, I felt it was too long and was not needed to be extended to 40 minutes. Imagine that episode streched into a full hour.

to tvman: i think the negotiation was only *really* as in the broadcast time 27 minutes long since 1/3 is commercials and 2/3 is show. so if it were 1 hour it would really be more like 40 minutes
