Skyward Sword does not make any sense to me

Okay I don't mean about that the game is hard for me. What confused me were the characters and timeline.I mean in SS(Skyward Sword) Zelda is Link's childhood friend. Huh. I thought Llia was Link's childhood friend. And which time period does it take place. Is this a sequel to TP(Twillight Princess) 或者 is Twillight Princess after it? And one 更多 问题 does Spirit Tracks take place before TP 或者 SS? 或者 does it take place after. I'm so confused.

This(SS) is the prequel to ALL other zelda games. ALL of them. This is what happened before the first zelda game was released over 25 years ago, it explains the events that happened before Hyrule became Hyrule.

Twilight princess was after SS, and Spirit Tracks was the most modernized zelda game out of all of them so far, with trains and other odd technologies. So, in order, the three games mentioned are this(in terms of historical accuracy of the Zelda Series):

Skyward Sword
Twilight Princess
Spirit Tracks
