The song should have been Mother Know’s best and the song that won was more upbeat(We belong together from TS3). Plus they probably think that Tangled was a rip off of Beauty & the Beast(guy gets stabbed),Stardust(Gothel stoled Rapunzel for her hair),Anastasia(bad boy falls for princess) etc.

I know I might get a drilling for this and I apologise for those who love this movie like me but I think that’s why it didn’t win at the Oscars on Sunday. Plus Mandy Moore was very nervous when she sang I see the light at the Oscars and Zac Levi was a bit nervous too. But everyone gets nervous.
