Ever since New 52 超人 died, the 超人 fandom has been 分裂, 拆分 between those who are overjoyed the pre-Flashpoint 超人 is coming back and those who actually liked N52 Superman’s stories.

I will not speak about the new 超人 movies. That’s another matter of debate.

For the most part, I was on the fence about New 52 Supes. Convergence is Coming

Convergence, the new DC Comics event, will start on April 2015 and end on May 2015. The story involves Brainiac having trapped cities from various timelines and planets that have ended, brought them in domes to a planet outside of time and space. He opens these cities to see what happens, causing meetings between 超能英雄 across the multiverse. Meanwhile, a new villain named Telos arises to take advantage of it all.

During the event, all monthly New 52 comics, including the 超人 franchise, will be suspended and will resume publication in June 2015.

When people think about Christopher Reeve's first two 超人 films, they tend to think of them with fondness and love. However, the 3rd and 4th films got a much different response. 超人 3 is often regarded as a mediocre sequel, while 超人 4 is often considered to be one of the worst superhero films of all time. Happy 15 年 Anniversary To 超人 Returns

超人 Returns is a film that came out in June of 2006. The film, which starred Brandon Routh as Superman, was meant to lead to, at the very least, one sequel. That ended up not happening. Superman: Opinions on the New 52

With the New 52 far behind, I can look back on it with 更多 nuanced eyes and give my opinion. Here it goes...

While the decision to significantly modify Superman's status quo in the New 52 is not one I agree with, it is one I can understand. 超人 had become such an iconic character not only to DC, but to modern culture, that it was a major challenge to write him as an emotionally compelling protagonist in a dramatic story. 由 taking him out of his comfort zone, 超人 could be portrayed as a 更多 fallible and human character and adapt to a world that may no longer see his ideals as relevant....
