Should I read the books? :)

I was planning on 阅读 them, but today my friend tried to talk me out of it, 由 saying that the 图书 will ruin my impression of the show. And few of her other 老友记 agree. What do 你 guys think?

5)there is some 邪恶力量 stuff as in btvs 或者 邪恶力量 sometimes its too much but it doesnt really matter
6) of course the 显示 is different (more like twilight and btvs) but as long as u dont picture elena as nina...
7)the 写作 is truly great! LJ did an excellent job
some people will say that elena's face isnt important but in the book it is.

YESSSS! the characters are very developed and have bigger parts and meanings to who they are! Damon is hilarious and Damon and Bonnie are ADORABLE!!:) some spoilers for 显示 (not a lot, the 显示 always has a twist). 你 also get a background of the story and 更多 邪恶力量 creatures and myths... Bonnie is so cute and has 更多 potential in the books!
P.S. Elena in 图书 is blond with blue eyes... Not like Nina even though i 爱情 her. ;) <3
