I'm confuse with Irene Adler sexuality, which side she prefer?

What I think Irene was trying to get across was that John isn't gay, true, and Irene is gay, but that doesn't mean they both don't romantically 爱情 Sherlock. So when John was saying, "For those who still care, I am not gay!" Irene responded with, " Well, I am!" Saying it doesn't mean 你 can't still 爱情 Sherlock.

Soo, what I'm trying to say is that Irene is a lesbian who happens to 爱情 Sherlock. He's her exception like he's John's exception.

Why does she have to prefer either? Bisexuality is a thing that exists. And why does she have to be gay or straight or bisexual? There are other sexualities out there.

Also, a gay person can be attracted to a person of the opposite sex. It's not common (it's actually really rare), but it can happen.

And who says she's attracted to Sherlock in a romantic/sexual way at all? 或者 that he's attracted to her a romantic/sexual way? There can be chemistry without any romance. Sherlock (and Ben) has great chemistry with Watson (and Martin), but it's obvious they aren't attracted to each other.

I don't think Moffat 或者 Gattiss (or Pulver) have 给 us anything about her sexuality beyond what's been 说 in the show. And, realistically, they probably won't.

I think in that scene with John and Irene she tried to tell that she doesn't believe that he's straight.
"I'm not actually gay."
And she 答案 "Well, I am" to make it a scene were both of them is lying. Like she's is saying "You're as much straight as I'm gay, which means not at all."
That's just a theory :P

She is definitely gay.

At the very beginning, they tell 你 that she has sexual 照片 of her and a FEMALE royal member. (If they are reflecting the original cannon, it is an even deeper relationship than just a client.)

The 下一个 line after saying to John "well I am" is "look at us both". Meaning, that even though John is straight he loves Sherlock, and even though she is gay, she also loves Sherlock.

It is possible she is Bisexual, as she keeps saying "I know what he likes." when asked how she knows things, but that doesn't necessarily mean sex, men can have many private interests 或者 weird fetishes that are not exactly sex.

So if she is bisexual 或者 homo-flexible it is left entirely ambiguous. (bisexual meaning attracted to both genders, homo-flexible meaning attracted to same gender but willing to participate in sexual activities with both/either genders.) I'm inclined to think she is homo-flexible because being a professional dominatrix she probably caters to both genders, but it is all business and her personal orientation is gay that's why she says "well I am" when John says he's not gay.

I think this episode eloquently demonstrates the difference between 爱情 and sexual attraction, how they are two different things, and how they can exist independently of each other.

Well I think Irene prefer herself))) Seriosly, she meet a man 或者 a woman and she thinks "OK I can profit from working with him, so I will be with him". Who is her "new big love" - it doesn't matter at all. She is a versatile srecialist))))

I think that what she's saying is that she is homosexual, but that it doesn't change the fact that she loves Sherlock, any 更多 than Watson being straight changes his feelings for Sherlock.

I believe she likes a little bit. Whatever she can get.

Irene Adler is bisexual. She does not have a preference. She has a girlfriend but she is in 爱情 with Sherlock.

Irene is gay but she is attracted to sherlock so maybe bisexual?
