This is the Institute in Brooklyn. It is an old gothic cathedral that is run by the Lightwoods. The Lightwoods live in the Institute full time but others can live there if they are approved to by the Lightwoods. Only Shadowhunters can open the doors.

"I came to talk to Bennitt."

"Of course. Come in. I think he's in the music room. I could hear the piano."

Zane nodded and walked inside.

"I found a demon snopping around my apartment."

Elain jjust watched. "Demons are jackasses with no fucking respect for anything, not even themselves." She said quietly. Elain stood up and sat down next to James. "Hello, little guy." She offered hima hand. "I'm Elain."

James got up and went to the part of the room where his violin case leaned against the wall. He set it down on a table and took out his violin. He let it rest on his shoulder and started playing the violin part to this song.
