Oh gee where to begin. Sailor Moon is a magical girl program that was first aired in 1992. Its main character Usagi (or Serena in the English version) is a bit of a clutz and a crybaby. One 日 while she was late for school she ran into some children being cruel to a cat. She chases the bad kids away and removes the bandaid from the 猫 forehead which reveals a crescent moon bald spot. The 猫 stare then creeps her out and she hears the 钟, 贝尔 ring and runs off for school. After school is over she finds out that her best friend's mom is throwing a huge sell at her jewelry store. Well this sell is actually part of a plot to steal energy from all the customers and use it to feed the evil 皇后乐队 Matilda in charge of the Negaforce which is the group of baddies trying to take over the world. That night Usagi's friend Naru (Molly in the English version) figures out that something is horribly wrong with her mother and the monster disguised as her attacks Naru. The cat from earlier, Luna, shows up again and warns Usagi of the dangers and that she has to save her friend. She gives Usagi a transformation broach that transforms her into Sailor Moon. This is the beginning of Usagi's quest of fighting evil, protecting the world, and eventually finding the Moon Princess and silver crystal who could bring peace and prosperity to the world once again. Eventually she runs into other sailor soldiers like herself (Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus in season 1, Pluto in season 2, ChibiMoon, Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn in season 3, and the 3 Sailor Starlights in season 5) and they together protect the solar system.
