Not sure about walking, but I know one about not remembering. The book is called Fragments, I forgot the author. Pretty good book. Worth giving it a shot.

well, i would recommend "The Diving 钟, 贝尔 and the Butterfly" (Le scaphandre et le papillon)by Jean Dominique Bauby

"It describes what his life is like after suffering a massive stroke that left him with a condition called locked-in syndrome. It also details what his life was like before the stroke.

The entire book was written 由 Bauby blinking his left eyelid, which took ten months (four hours a day). A transcriber repeatedly recited a French language frequency-ordered alphabet, until Bauby blinked to choose the 下一个 letter. The book took about 200,000 blinks to write and an average word took approximately two minutes. The book also chronicles everyday events for a person with locked-in syndrome. These events include playing at the 海滩 with his family, getting a bath, and meeting visitors.

Bauby died of pneumonia two days after the book was published in French." Wikipedia.org

i don't know if this helps 你 but 你 should read it anyway...it is absolutely amazing!
