A real man is a man who's not a cartoon or a drawing. The definition for a real man is that he is sexually mature, human, and male. Not every male will have these qualities said in the article (which are subjective), but can still be a suitable partner, not to mention that not every female will look for these qualities either. These are just examples of what he thinks a man should be, but are only ideal and not always realistic. He is just stating what our society or his views thinks is acceptable behavior.
While I'll agree to some extent these are good examples of an ideal partner, he should leave out "real man" because that term is stupid and doesn't apply to his article; these qualities can be easily applied to women partners as well. I would love a woman whose direct and not secretive. A relationship needs both respecting partners.
