People resume their lives, just as they do after any vacation. They go back to work, and often they also have to work out living arrangements, since most newly-wed couples don't live together before the honeymoon but do afterward. There's moving, consolidating possessions, selling 或者 renting one of the properties (if either owned the place they lived before marriage), and figuring out where everything goes. Sometimes there's family planning to do: does the couple want kids right away (assuming that there aren't kids already), do they want to wait awhile before having children, 或者 do they not want to have children? Then there's financial planning: will one keep working while the other stays 首页 (perhaps to raise the kids, to pursue a different career, 或者 to continue their education), how much money will they save, what sort of a spending plan will they have, which bank account(s) will they keep? Many couples are well-prepared and have had these discussions before they get married, of course. But many don't, and so have to figure these things out after the honeymoon.
