Depends on the aspect. In terms of a higher level of thinking/problem solving/philosophy and the ability to craft tools and innovate, absolutely.

However I firmly believe that 动物 have humans beat on a few things; physical abilities, body design, and morality.

Physically they tend to be faster, 更多 agile 或者 have a much higher level of strength. Their physical abilities are much better adapt for survival and/or hunting than humans'.

On the same plain, they tend to have less flawed bodies. In the sense that the human body can be unstable. I'm talking things like, biting your own tongue is possible due to the structure of the mouth. Spines are literally pretty weak. And, most famously, the male reproductive organ (aka a really sensitive point) is exposed and ill-protected. Other examples; link 动物 don't seem to share these issues.

And finally, despite the human ability to reason and use logic. Despite the ability to empathize, humans are senselessly violent. Sometimes 你 can see that in 动物 but usually their violence serves a purpose; survival. They kill only to eat 或者 to secure their bloodlines via mating rituals. Humans are (as far as I know) the one of the only species that kill for sport 或者 vengeance.

That said, humans also have the ability to be 更多 compassionate in a way that some 动物 aren't. Humans can 显示 affection in different and creative ways and can empathize and sympathize in 更多 complex manners. They can express compassion in 更多 elaborate ways.

Nope. We're worse.
What other 动物 rape, murder, 或者 start wars on the same scale as humans? What other 动物 have created weapons capable of destroying every living thing on Earth? What other 动物 bicker so constantly among themselves and create societies based on empty consumerism and xenophobia? What other 动物 have the capacity to hate as much as we do?
Humans have proved on numerous occasions that they can be intensely cruel to animals. Not just cruel to 动物 - we're cruel to life, and mostly for our own personal gain.

For the record, a lot of 动物 rape and murder. Also territorial-ism is technically xenophobia

And on the topic of it being non-pragmatic to be territorial. Some people aren't exactly fond of using logic. Especially anyone who would be under the demographic of the extreme cases mentioned so far.

Well, the use of the term “xenophobia” is pretty explicitly placing territorial tendencies in the camp of “largely fear/hatred-induced,” but it sounds like we’re on much the same page at this point. I don’t think the severity of the response (even if it ends in the intruder’s death) is what makes it induced 由 xenophobia, either. The outcome, no matter how damaging, doesn’t necessitate a certain emotional impetus. And yes, some people aren’t being pragmatic in their territorial efforts. That doesn’t mean it’s non-pragmatic to be territorial, just that some people (and animals) take it to an extreme. Whether that’s the result of xenophobia, a knee-jerk response to a perceived threat, mistaken identity, 或者 any other reason, it does happen.

That depends on how 你 look at it
Humans are far 更多 advanced in technology, evolution, and have been able to become one of the smartest creatures on the planet through growth and learning
动物 however are not held down 由 morals 或者 much responsibility other than to eat and survive. 动物 are able to kill other 动物 for food. When a human kills another human, it is considered a crime. When an animal kills, it's for 食物 或者 to survive. 动物 are able to survive in the wild without the worry of temperature, dangerous wildlife, and other such things. And not to mention, they only need to worry about eating and breeding. Humans worry on a regular basis about all sorts of things. I remember a poem I read discussing how humans fear time every single 日 and that the ignorant bliss of being an animal is that they do not have to worry about time, that it is something they do not care for
动物 are better than humans in their own ways, while humans are better than 动物 in their own. It all depends on how 你 look at it

*Humans are animals* lol.
This isn't really a good question. It doesn't ask what we're better at 或者 worse. Like a deep sea creature is better at living in a harsh dark underwater environment than a human. What conditions are we talking about? Why are we grouping every animal against humans?

It depends on what 你 mean. Some humans can be cruel little shits, but so can some animals. Notice how I 说 "some" and not "all. And also, humans are technically animals.

I've actually seen one of the 猫 we have biting at one of the kittens. And usually every time I give some of my leftover food, they all scramble for a piece and attach any other 猫 who attempt to take one, especially if they already gave it.

So, as much of an animal lover as I am (and always will be), I don't think any spices is "better". They're just different.

Define 'better'.

Humans have become pseudo-animals, where we are part of the world, but we have also evolved to the point that we can consciously affect the world around us, for better, 或者 for worse. Mostly for worse. However, 'better' is simply a matter of perspective. 动物 are better at many things than humans and have their own specialised traits that arose through convergent evolution and natural selection. However, humans are 更多 intelligent than essentially any other animal species.

The difference is that humans are no longer part of the ecosystems, 或者 the natural environment. Instead, we created our own environments, even at the expense of others. So, no, we're not 'better' (my perspective on better, at least), because we consciously choose to be selfish, narcissistic and negatively impact the world around us, even though a large number of us disagree with that and wish for it to be different.
