The saddest song I ever heard is probably Bobby 由 Reba Mcentire. It's about a man named Bobby who's wife is in a terrible car accident. He can't stand to see her suffering and because he loves he so much he takes her off life support. As a result he goes to jail, and his young son hates him. Every night in jail Bobby sings about his dead wife. When the son grows up he realizes why his dad did what he did, it's a very depressing song, I'll post the lyrics below.

There are so many sad songs to choose from, but I'd say something 由 Elliott Smith since he is basically the definition of depression. His 音乐 is so great, but so sad when 你 really pay attention to the lyrics. He was a great artist and it's a shame that he killed himself. It's probably not the saddest song I've heard and I'm not entirely sure who sung it but Bratja from the FMA OST has been the saddest song I've heard lately, it's originally sung in Russian, but Vic Mignogna did a fairly nice English version.
