I'm not really sure. It is an interesting theory, but I'm not counting on it until I witness it myself. Besides, a theory is a widely-accepted idea, not a proven fact.
Definitely, according to theoretical physics, specifically Einstein's theory of relativity. Travelling into the past may be impossible to the best of our knowledge, but if we could find a way to travel close to the speed of light (3 x 10^8 m/s) we could go hundreds 或者 thousands of years into the future. Time-travel isn't just in the realms of fiction anymore, but science. Very exciting.

Disclaimer: may be impossible to ever 马具, 线束 enough energy to travel at such a speed, and even if we could, Einstein's equations suggest that an object at the speed of lught would have infinite mass and a length of 0. Potentially problematic, lol.
