I don't remember what it's called (even though I listen to it all the time), it has like instruments playing in the background while people sing lyrics.Pretty awesome stuff, 你 guys should check it out.
哥特式 and Symphonic Metal. There are many varieties of these kinds of bands because some are extremely 吉他 heavy with just a little bit of orchestras and choirs in the background, while other bands can be completely centered around the orchestras with only the guitars as an afterthought. 你 can be both a metalhead and an orchestra lover to like this genre. A lot of 哥特式 metal can also send off a very eerie vibe because they're in a lot of minor keys, which I love. There can be very dark songs either about the real world 或者 幻想 and it really makes 你 think and expand your imagination. Not to mention female vocalists are prominent throughout this genre, which I see as a plus because I prefer female singers over male singers most of the time. One of the best things about this genre, though: No stupid party songs that have no meaning!
One of my 最喜爱的 songs in this genre. (An example of 更多 orchestra than guitar.) My 最喜爱的 is the last 2 minutes. ^_^
Jazz and classical. Classical is 由 far the most sophisticated and containing the most musical theory. Jazz has a good jump to it while it has musical theory to it as well. My 最喜爱的 jazz group is the Dave Brubeck Quartet - they have a really good sound and do a lot of superfluous stuff like 5/4 time (Take Five), 9/4 time (Blue Rondo á la Turk), etc.

Cool. :) I like some classical, especially Beethoven.
Well... I don't really have a 最喜爱的 type. I like folk, country, rock, rap, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I can't really classify which one I like most.
