Had one today! I slept until 10:42 and my mom was like, "Emily get up, too much sleep isn't good for you" blah blah blah... Then I got up.

I've had 更多 than a snow day, in fact last week was the only full week of school I had since before 圣诞节 and I'm on my 秒 snow 日 this week.

Yup. Had one yesterday and odds are I won't have school for the rest of the week.

Get this.

There's a foot and a half of snow on the ground as is, and it iced last night. The roads are slick and dangerous, and the speed on highways has officially been lowered to 45 because it's too dangerous to drive faster. (Yes, my bus takes the highway to school.) There are branches down everywhere forcing us to take detours in neighborhoods, the power flickers on and off, and there's nowhere for kids who drive to school to park because the parking lots are iced completely over and the salt can't melt it all. In school, the internet and main office is down so attendance must be manual, and there's limited contact between the school and parents due to trouble finding contact information from kids. Half of the elementary schools in my district are off.

And yet, there's high school. -_-

Of corse I live in ME so it seems like when ever it snows we don't have school :D

Sadly, no. I can only wish that a HUGE mountain of snow would just crush the whole school district (Of course..with no one still inside 或者 由 the school) and we'd have snow days for days! 哈哈

No, zero. It may have snowed on other parts of the country, but not where I live. It's practically impossible, which is sad because the last time we got snow here it was barely nothing and the school got closed.

my sisters are working on their sixth 或者 seventh snow 日 in less than a month, the weather has been that bad lately. it sucks because that means that the school is going to make up for that 迷失 time 由 taking from their vacation time.

I've had two, but I wish I had one today. It would've 给 me TONS of time to work on my essay due tommorrow. Which I should be doing right now.

Yes, plenty of reasons why:

• We have over 3 feet of snow piled in the parking lot.
• Teachers have lives and kids to take care of, so if their school is closed, why open up?
• Power is out, our school uses the technology for nearly EVERYTHING!
• Us students have to stand outside in the cold, slipping on ice, busting out a**** to wait for the school bus
• Bus drivers understand almost NO word of English, so answering the student's needs and driving at the same time is hard
• The ice is hard to remove so a 2 小时 delay WON'T fix it
• Nobody wants to go
and finally...
• What parent wants to drive their child to school? It's 34 degrees.

Two days in a row, and on Monday I didn't go to school.
