你 ask someone" what kind of 音乐 do 你 like??"

and they say " everything"

it pisses me off, being a major 音乐 粉丝 because how can someone like everything?? and there probably refering to" justin beiber, taylor swift, paramore, evenesence, and maybe a little 埃米纳姆 and ARosmith 或者 soemthing"lol.it just bugs me

音乐 is probably the best way to express who 你 are.
I'm probably one of those persons that say "everything". And it's true, I am able to hear every kind of music. I'm not picky.
One day, I might be listening to Michael Jackson and the other I could be listening to Lady Gaga. But I would never consider myself a 粉丝 of them, because generally, they are not what I listen to, but it doesn't means I don't listen to them. It just means I probably don't appreciate their songs as much as their 粉丝 do, but I still listen to them.

i agree with 你 there. but noone can like " everything" because noone has heard " every" band. thats what im getitng at.

I think those people mean "everything" 由 音乐 genre, not 由 bands.
