I suppose you're right. It's not only 13 年 olds, though. Though, I do believe that children of that age tend to be 更多 backhand worthy.
I think it's becasue they're getting into pop culture and the media. They see people on 电视 being dramatic and reacting in a way which would never happen in reality, thus appearing immature. They see it on televion, so they think it's cool. (think about all the middle school drama people go through. It's all Gossip Girl and One 树 爬坡道, 小山 stuff)
They eventually grow wiser and realize 电视 is just that. Television.
And 由 the way (just an opinion of mine) I think shouting "HEY, I'M MATURE!!!" actually releavl the exact oposite.
*Sigh* 你 can't go around assuming all 13 年 olds are immature assholes. Sure, many are, but that doesn't mean we all are. Please, please avoid the stereotyping.
I didn't. Well.....I had an obsession with Chucky the killer doll at thirteen years old (Don't ask) but other than that, I was pretty mature at thirteen.
