What actually DOES your IQ level say?

Well, IQ tests are meant to measure your intelligence, though I'd say that they probably don't do this very accuratley as I took the test a while 以前 ad it gave me a bad score yet at school I'm the 秒 cleverest in my class and I'm working at a higher level than my own age, so I think IQ test are a bunch of crap really. (not just because I got a low score but also because it's impossible to measure intelligence.)

IQ is only one level of intelligence. There are many levels, on which 你 can base intelligence. Another important one is EQ, whicbh measures how well 你 can use your intelligence and explain certain pieces of information to someone of almost any age. Plus, there are other factors that come into intelligence: general skills/things 你 are good at, general knowledge, language/linguistics, memory, your particular way of learning information (kinetic, visual, memory etc), 街, 街道 skills, common sense and theoretical.

IQ is supposed to tell your Intelligence, they say over 140 is genius level... i took a test at school once, it told me i was 139.... i should have ate breakfast that morning!!!!

When people say that it doesn't really say anything about your intelligence, they probably scored low on an IQ test.
IQ does say A LOT. It tells your inherent academic ability, your capacity for learning, your memory, and your academic creativity and problem solving skills.
One of the main reasons that people don't believe IQ to be important is because many people with high IQ's tend to be lazier. They tend to think that since they are smarter than most people, that they don't have to work as hard. This can sometimes make them come across as unintelligent, rude, and may even affect their grades.
Also, people with high IQ's tend to be night owls, which affects how they function during the day. They also tend to be 更多 socially awkward, because they think differently than people with average IQ's. They have trouble understanding how other humans think.
People with high IQ's are also much 更多 likely to experience depression and self-mutilation. This could either come with their natural curiosity, 或者 with their inability to understand the functioning of a normal human's mind.
BUT, even with these downsides, people with high IQ's don't have to work as hard in school to do better than most people, and they have very good memories. They also have the capacity to understand things and concepts that people with lower IQ's could not understand, no matter how much studying they put into it (EX, abstract algebra, graph theory, etc.)
People with higher IQ's are also better at solving problems, and tend to be 更多 open-minded, and secure in their beliefs.
