It depends on how 你 look at the question.
If 你 think of it as "What number can 你 subtract half (as in 0.5) from..." then it's 0.5 because 0.5-0.5=0
Or...
If 你 see it as "What number can 你 subtract half (of its self) from..." then it's 0, because 0-0=0.
So, logically, the answer can be either 0 或者 0.5.

yes it is. If 你 subtrct 1/2 from 1/2 it's zero. possible.
