1
Create a melody (maybe in your mind)

2
Form a chord progression (one of the simplest is C,G,A,F).

3
Raise the tempo up! Make it fast and don't care about what people think.

4
Make a nice & fast 吉他 riff, which is catchy (e.g The Rock 显示 由 blink-182), and in the key of the chord progression 你 came up with.

5
Lyrics should be about ANYTHING, and 由 ANYTHING i really mean that. Aliens, hot dogs, fetishes, groceries, supermarkets, anything. Make them rhyme to sound 更多 catchy.

6
Create a catchy hook (note: my 建议 would be to create that hook in your mind first and figure it out later)

7
Create a bridge/interlude.

8
So here's the basic body of the song:

For those of us who grew up in the shadow of the baby boom, force-fed the misremembered vainglory of Woodstock long after most hippies had become coked-out, craven yuppies on their way to becoming paranoid neo-cons, punk rock provided a corrective dose of hard truth. Punk was ugly and ugly was true, no matter how many new choruses the boomers added to their song of self-praise. It was this perceived honesty that we, the nascent Generation X, feared and worshipped. But over time punk swelled into a Stalinistic doctrine of self-denial that stunted us. The yuppies kept sucking, but 由 clinging...

"This song is not anti-American; it's anti-war," explained Billie Joe Armstrong, frontman of American pop-punk band Green Day, to the thousands of teenagers crowding the stage in 伦敦 ("List of Anti-War Songs"). As he performed the band's song, "Holiday", Armstrong admonished war and 流行的 culture in a fashion similar to that of The Sex Pistols, who had preached anarchy in Britain nearly thirty years previously. Despite the lapse in time, similarities between the bands are evident—modern alternative and punk bands borrow many aspects of their styles from British and American pre-punk...

Most of us who are into Punk rock initially got involved in the movement at some point in our teenage years. With acne on our faces, foam dripping from our mouths and giant chips on our shoulders we found excitement in 音乐 that was loud, full of energy, and completely anti authority. The excitement and fear that is associated with going to a Punk 显示 for the first time is an unusual and unfamiliar feeling that leaves 你 constantly seeking the same sort of experience over and over again. Young punks become adrenaline and testosterone addicts much to the chagrin of their parents and teachers...

punk, also known as punk rock, aggressive form of rock 音乐 that coalesced into an international (though predominantly Anglo-American) movement in 1975–80. Often politicized and full of vital energy beneath a sarcastic, hostile facade, punk spread as an ideology and an aesthetic approach, becoming an archetype of teen rebellion and alienation.

Borrowed from prison slang, the word punk was first used in a musical context during the early 1970s, when compilation albums such as Lenny Kaye’s Nuggets (1972) created a vogue for simple mid-1960s 车库 rock 由 groups such as the Seeds, the 13th...

The Foundations of Punk Rock

The beginnings of punk rock are often furiously debated. This is partially because everyone has different definition of punk rock, and partially because its foundation stones are found in several places.

"Punk Rock" was originally used to describe the 车库 musicians of the '60's. Bands like the Sonics were starting up and playing out with no musical 或者 vocal instruction, and often limited skill. Because they didn't know the rules of music, they were able to break the rules.

The mid to late '60s saw the appearance of the Stooges and the MC5 in Detroit. They were...
