God looked around His garden and saw an empty space,
then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around 你 and lifted 你 to rest,
God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.



He knew that 你 were suffering, He knew 你 were in pain,
He knew that 你 would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb,
as He closed your weary eyelids and whispered 'Marienne it is time'.



Through tearful eyes we watched 你 and saw 你 slip away,
and although we loved 你 dearly we knew 你 could not stay.
A golden 心 stopped beating, hard working hands at rest,
God's garden is 更多 beautiful now, because we know he took the best.
