Regina joining the Queens of Darkness felt a bit like an overplayed version of the bad girls club at the start of Once Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 15.
As revealed in Once Upon a Time‘s Season 4 finale, the only person who can rid the realms of the Darkness once and for all, and thus save newly christened Dark One Emma, is Merlin.
With the clang of the Dark One’s dagger — now emblazoned with Emma Swan’s name — on Storybrooke’s Main Street, ABC’s Once Upon a Time pointed itself down a very new and dangerous path.
