What if Equestria was in a WW1 like world, where trench warfare was common, but, what if, while all this confusion and hell was going on, something sinister saw its time to rise? This story will explore that through a young Celestian 小马, 柯尔特 named Shallow Ice. Shallow Ice, just barely able to 加入 due to his age, and psychologically scarred, joins the 102st Celestian Response Regiment, thinking it would be a cushy job, but when rumors about corpses of the deceased rising from there holes and trenches, Shallow Ice is sent on a hellish journey through "No Colts Land", an area full of traps, deserters, insanity, and even terryfying creatures, thought to have existed in Fairy-tales, but brought up 由 the evil the war has caused. Shallow Ice has only two options now; Find out who is controlling the monsters, and prolonging the war, 或者 die trying, and 加入 the ever-growing legion of undead, rising from their resting places...
