Yes,there is a 万圣节前夕 II,which is 由 John Carpenter.....and this new one,H2:Halloween II,is 由 Rob Zombie. This one 由 Zombie is NOT a remake however,but his own take on the psychopathic serial stalker/murderer - Michael Myers. If you've ever seen Rob Zombie's version of Halloween,you'll see that he kind of mimicked John Carpenter's 1978 version in some ways. But like I said,Zombie didnt mimic the original version of 万圣节前夕 II in this one. Believe me,you wont be disappointed if 你 watch it :). Hope this answer helps!

noo, I'm sorry but 万圣节前夕 2 ((1981)) was directed 由 Rick Rosenthal not John Carpenter... and H2 ((2009)) it is a remake, is the continuation of the first part ((halloween 1, 2007))
Basically it is a bastardized abomination of a film that shud never have been made along with its crappy 2007 remake both of which shud b forgotten about completely :D.Curse u Rob Zombie!!!Leave the originals and the Bloody amazing 音乐 ALONE!! Other than that this 万圣节前夕 2 is jus a continuation of the remake of the original Halloween, with a bad mask an variation of the theme 音乐 an other stupid differences..............sorry 万圣节前夕 is the reason y i 爱情 Horror films so i'm a bit attached t the originals lol
