This is the audio of a 1971 interview with J.R.R. Tolkien on the BBC 4 radio program 'Now Read On...'

Very self explanatory, and very well done. He pronounces Tolkien (toll-keen) as Tolkin (toll-kin), which really bugged me, and his voice is nasal.

This is a rare recording of J.R.R. Tolkien from 1952, in which he recites the Quenya poem "Namárië", famously sung 由 Galadriel in the chapter "Farewell to Lórien" in "The Lord of the Rings". (All the lyrics are on the youtobe page of this)
