Sky1 to air Hugh Laurie drama House 

WHAT!!!? WHAT!!!? NO NO NO. First they buy up Lost and now, now HOUSE!!! The only shows I watch on TV!! I can't believe this, I can't believe this!! I know I watch House online but OMG I'm pissed off.

I hate SKY so damn much!! I'm not buying it just to watch two shows, god I hate them! :X

OMG THEY ACTUALLY DID WHAT I TOLD THEM TO DO!!!

I sent them an e-mail last week saying they should just sell the rights since they aren't promoting House or using it for its full potential.

I AM SO FREAKIN' HAPPY!!!

Now instead of it being shown in the fall, we get it in the SUMMER!!! I CAN SEE JOY AND THE SECOND KISS OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN HD!!!! WOOOOO!!!

I'm with you Velvet_fox the only way I am watching House now is on the internet and on DVD.

But with the Digital swich coming it might be better for more people BUT NOT ME :(

It wont effect me .... but I think it is so sad that 5 have shown four seasons and got some fans hooked on House , and then decided to start a new series ( The Mentalist ) in place of season 5 of House , all the fans of House that dont have Sky are left high and dry , its morally wrong and I hope channel 5 find that it was a big mistake and regret it , nothing against The Mentalist it seems quite good , but .... is it worth risking getting hooked on it with such a fickle company showing it , we could have a repeat in a couple of years or less ,and be left high and dry with that too ... not worth watching 5 at all , sod em .

Why won't you be here anymore om? And this doesn't affect the US, but sorry bout UK and whoever else people being effected :(. There's always fox.com/house to watch new eps and stuff.

My friend texted me with this information earlier... upset and annoyed :( Im going to write an angry letter of complaint to channel 5... grrrrrr its not fair!!!

I feel angry and sad for the millions of people who dont have sky and even more sad for the ones who dont have a computer either , two people out of the 3 in my office alone wont get to see season 5 now untill its out on video , and even though sky have bought it , they havent got the first four seasons so I dont think they will get a lot of new viewers to House because they are starting at season five and there has so much passed it will be diffucult to pick up for new viewers, the relationships between all the cast will seem odd without the background of the past four years, if sky had all five seasons it may work better , start with the pilot and work through but I dont honestly see House getting to be popular in Britain by starting at season five , just House's character alone ... without (3 Stories , Honeymoon, Need to Know , One Day One room , Bithmarks, Houses Head and Wilsons Heart)will be difficult to understand , all thses episodes told so much about House and why he is like he is , just my take on it , I am up to date with season 5 but my heart goes out to those who are not .xx, sorry for any mistakes , in a rush.....xx

LH it might pick up new fans. For example my brother has reccently started watching House with me, having never seen it before and he is eager for any season 5 episode to come out, even if he knows little of the backstory. Lol it was quite funny the other day actually when he asked me if Wilson was a Doctor or not! XD That's how little he knows about the show but he's keen on watching the rest of season 5 with me.
So that may not be too bad, it's just all the viewers who don't have Sky which will impact the ratings the most. LOST is lucky to get 1 million viewers in the UK these days and it's a real shame. :(
