Luna looked back and shouted, “EXPELLIARMUS!”
The Death Eater’s wand flew out of his hand.
“Nice shot!” Neville said, looking at her impressed. Luna beamed brightly, as the two continued to run. They both slowed as they neared a room filled with smoke. Neville ran in first and Luna followed close behind. They heard shouts coming from every direction.
“CRUCIO!” There was a scream of agony.
“STUPEFY!”
“AVADA KEDAVRA!”
The last spell seemed closer and both ducked at the same time. They heard a thud as a body hit the floor. Luna ran over there, despite the spells flying everywhere.
“Oh dear,” Luna 说 as Neville approached her. Remus Lupin was on the floor, his eyes glazed and his body unmoving. Neville bent down and tried to find a pulse. He looked up, but didn’t meet Luna’s anxious gaze.
“Come on,” Neville muttered, looking down. Luna didn’t move. She bent down and tried to pick up Lupin’s body. “Luna, there’s no point in doing this. We’ll come for him la-”
Neville stopped, surprised and a bit scared. He had never seen Luna so angry in his years at Hogwarts. She continued to try and lift the body. Neville hesitated, but then helped her. They were almost out of the room when 唐克斯 came. She froze, looking at the body.
‘Tonks…?” Luna asked softly. 唐克斯 held out her hands, and tried to take the body.
“I’ll help,” Luna offered, and when she looked up, 唐克斯 had tears streaming down her face.
Both carried the body to the Great Hall, where there were only a few people there. 唐克斯 sat down on a bench, at the same 表 that Lupin’s body was at. Without a word, Luna wrapped her arms around 唐克斯 in a hug. Not being able to contain them any longer, 唐克斯 started to cry.
