Clearly, sometimes easier is better. Sometimes less is more.

As to the re-imagined same old story, well, I do not know about you, but it’s what I predicted. It’s the Monster source story, only advised a little different—and if you demonstration and grumble, evaluating it to the 1978 film, keep in mind that Captain christopher Reeve’s Monster 1 and Monster 2 were created as one source film, taken at the same time and designed to be one source story, but then there was a lot of stress between movie director Rich Donner and the manufacturers and that eventually modified the informing of the unique source story. So there you go. Man of Metal is basically retelling the same source story in one film.

That this edition advised the same old Monster source story with flashforwards and flashbacks, a apparently sketchy way of storytelling (so the expert experts say), was completely amazing and, yep, relaxing. Listen: if you are going to tell the same old Monster source story, why tell it linearly like they have done in previous films? At least come up with a different way to tell the same old story, and ol’ Zack Snyder and film writer Bob S. Goyer (The Black Soldier Increases, Phantom Rider: Soul of Revenge, The Black Soldier, The Unborn, Bouncer, Superman Starts, Blade: Trinity, Knife 2, Black City) do exactly that. The technique of storytelling is just outstanding.

And here is one of the factors I really appreciated: Snyder and Goyer have came back Monster to his The combined states origins. When Monster said that he was about as The combined states as you can get, Goof Boy was so amazed and thrilled (he may be a fanmonkey too, God help me) that he poured his Pepsi on the ogling lady to his remaining. (Pumped up Brit Gretchen Cavill, a.k.a., Monster, seems to be shirtless in the film, which describes the spit.) This was a well-mannered and amazing way to improve the old range “Truth, rights and the The combined states way.”
