I always loved the movie Serenity. I just thought it was nothing 更多 then a movie and that was the end of it. Then I saw the hidden extras on the DVD and discovered that it was much 更多 then I thought.

So I went out and got Firefly on DVD and was stunned at just how much I enjoyed it. The series itself is classed as sci-fi and I am not a 粉丝 of the genre. I was shocked that I liked it at all.

My point is this. Firefly and everything that followed does what few shows do. It crossed the lines that seperate genres, pulling 粉丝 from all areas into a world where they had never been before. I for one am glad that I got pulled into such a great experience.
