x-missmckena-x maybe you can show us some exapmles of the nastiness youve seen, im asking this becasue something one person can percive as nasty could not be another pereons perception of nastiness, people can be nasty to someone without even knowing it and its becasue we all handle situations differently!

vider69 Well nastiness and sarcasm is what it is, I had certain people suggesting that I delete the first spot that I created because it was a 'random' spot, which is doing very well now, also I get sarcastic remarks to 'some' of my fan pop questions or when I ask for advice, also I have seen people abusing others and swearing at people in the forums just because they don't like the spot in question, people bagging other peoples images, the list is endless, if you look around you will see it and I'm not being sarcastic here, it's a fact. DarkSarcasm, I don't know what you mean by 'what I don't get' so if it's a matter of getting my own way, then no, I'm a very easy going person, if you mean that I don't get their form or attitude, believe me I get it, or I would have never written an article as strongly based as this, and thank you both for your comments. vider69 No, like I've said before, sarcasm can be great in the right context, but abusing people in forums and swearing at people, using sarcasm to back their point up and bagging peoples spots and content as well as leaving nasty comments.

germany123 i was one of the people who commented on that "bits and pieces" spot. and i said..and i stand by that..that i feel its not needed. neither is the "bored" spot or the "anything" spot- do people who made those write articles saying thats nasty? NO! its my opinion. if youre on a user heavy site like fanpop people will tell you they dont like certain things- if youre convinced its a good idea and your spot it doing well..what do you care!? i have commented on numerous occasions that i am against rating sprees and yet we have a whole spot for that! and some of my favorite fanpoppers find rating sprees incredibly relaxing. to be frank i find that youre reading way too much into this- this isnt personal..this is just fanpop

vider69 Everyone is entitled to their opinion, if you read what I said it was more in regards to people abusing other people and swearing at them via forums, and leaving nasty comments on other peoples content, I know it's Fanpop, I'm quiet aware of where I am, but I'm entitled to my opinion too like everyone else, and if people take it personally, well like you said 'it's just Fanpop.'

x-missmckena-x wait im confused are we not allowed to swear on fanpop now, cuz i aint exactly got the cleanest mouth, well it would be typing mouth but ya get me! lol! and i will admitt when i get frustrated at things like someone who adds about 20 couple vids on a tv spot and not put keywords and all within 10 mins and then expect you to rate them, i eman cumon did they even think about the content they were adding or did they just say hay i want a prop, yeah i'll add in bulk sometimes but its bulk that ive read or watched and that i think others will enjoy. and then there are quite a few spots that are just useless and i wonder why people made them in the first place but im not guna comment on the spot, i might say something on a sister spot or something about it but thats my own opinion and fanpop is all about being entitled to your opinion

vider69 To x-missmckena-x, no, it's not about swearing, I've got the gutter mouth from hell sometimes, lol, it's about people abusing other users and swearing 'at them' in a nasty way in the forums, one user even called another user 'fugly' you stick with your opinion and your swearing as I always do. lol. Cheers, p.s. and I agree with you about the spots with little or no content and it's not fair cos someone else could have made the same spot if they had more to offer.

Cammie Okay, I'm pissed now! Why? Because people here are now trying to out-do each other about who has the foulest mouth. Let's settle this once and for all ... I DO! I have a dirty, filthy mouth that would make any tough truckie cringe. The "f" word is in my vocabulory 24/7 - can't help myself,it's a natural talent. However, I don't bring my foul mouth and comments onto the pop. My guttermouth is reserved for the real world. I think that's what vider's trying to say -she doesn't understand why people have to come onto a fansite and be nasty and mean and make rude,unwelcomed remarks. Personally, I have to admit I don't have an issue with this. I mean I don't feel that anyone at all has ever been nasty or desrespectful toward me here. Sometimes we disagree with each other and just have very strong different opinions but without the need to express it either in a snarly or offensive way. As for swearing (I'm not sure exactly where this is taking place) that is unacceptable to me here. No need. You can tell me to get f**ked as many times as you like in the real world but a no-no on the pop. I like to give the impression that I'm a classy dame,lol. So, let's all just do what we've joined Fanpop for ... to have fun and mingle with awesome*cough*users. PS Deserted spots or not much frequented spots (and there are spots with hundreds of fans that are either empty of content or rarely visited)might not be appreciated by a majority but it's worth it if only one or two people really participate and get enjoyment from it. BE WARNED FANPOPPERS: Don't even contemplate asking papa to delete the Bewitched spot!!!!!
