Well i guuess 你 could say ariel from the little mermaid. cuz she wasnt human. She was a fish.. and she wanted to be a human.

I'm sorry, but I don't know any book like that... if 你 want like a book about a talking animal instead, there is a lot of 图书 on that. One of my 最喜爱的 图书 is about a rabbit doll that thinks, if 你 want something like that, but no sorry, not that I know of, I haven't read one of those 图书 in my life. :( sorry!
