Once Mickey realized that Donald and the boys had defeated he 说 angrily, “Alright guys what was so important that 你 had to interrupt my game?! I was close to beating the score!”

“Now Listen!” Donald shouted, “Goofy’s right! All 你 do is play games; you’re like a video game-aholic! I mean, take a look yourself, you’re ignoring us, 你 just hit Max, and fixing to lose your girlfriend!”

Mickey grumbled, “That’s not true.”

“Come on guys let’s leave the game-aholic alone.” Donald said, “He obviously enjoys being with his games a lot 更多 than us.”

After the boys...

迪士尼 电影院 are usually made for families, designed to be enjoyable in every age. The shows they produce – not so much. Now I’m sure each of us has shows he saw as a child and he will always remember fondly, no matter what. And each of us has shows he sees as an adult an immediately ask himself “what were I thinking? This is stupid”. What I’m trying to do is to 列表 not the shows I’m the most nostalgic about, but the ones which I believe are watchable, even if 你 see the first episode as an adult.
Speaking of stupidity: The reason I stuck to animated shows is because I never...

And another review of a live action movie. It should be pretty obvious, why I picked this one, but just in case 你 don’t know this: 20,000 Leagues under the Sea was a huge success for the 迪士尼 studios, a critical acclaimed movie which still influences our perceptions of the book it was based on. And I freaking loved this movie as a child. But then my copy of the movie got 迷失 and I didn’t see it for a long, long time. When I rewatched it as an adult, I did it with a lot of trepidation. Would it still hold up after all this years?

This is the start of a new series of articles, in which I’ll take a look at book-based 迪士尼 movies. I will discuss how the movie relates to the original 来源 text (or not), what the merits and the weaknesses of the movie are.
I will not do this in chronological order, but simply pick what strikes me fancy (I’m open for requests, though). Don’t expect me to do the Lion King, though. For one, the connection to Hamlet is feeble at best, it’s 更多 a case of being inspired 由 it than a true adaptation, and two, technically Hamlet is a play, not a book. I also will not do the 迪士尼 Princess...

Church Chorus:
Confiteor Deo Omnipotenti (I confess to God almighty)
Beatae Mariae semper Virgini (To blessed Mary ever Virgin)
Beato Michaeli archangelo (To the blessed archangel Michael)
Sanctis apostolis omnibus sanctis (To the holy apostles, to all the saints)

Frollo:
Beata Maria
You know I am a righteous man
Of my virtue I am justly proud
(Et tibit Pater (And to you, Father))
Beata Maria
You know I'm so much purer than
The common, vulgar, weak, licentious crowd
(Quia peccavi nimis (That I have sinned))
Then tell me, Maria
Why I see her dancing there
Why her smold'ring eyes still scorch my soul
(Cogitatione...

[after falling into the alligator pit]
Yzma: Why do we even *have* that lever?

Yzma: Are 你 talking to that squirrel?
Kronk: I was a junior chipmunk, uh, and I had to be versed in all the woodland creatures.
[to squirrel]
Kronk: Please continue.
[squirrel talks to Kronk]
Yzma: [walking away] Why me? Why me? Why me? Why...?
Kronk: Hey, it doesn't always have to be about you. This poor little guy's had it rough. Seems a talking 骆驼, 美洲驼 gave him a hard time the other day.
[Yzma rushes over to them]
Yzma: Oh, a talking llama? Do tell.
[squirrel whispers to Kronk]
Kronk: Uh, he doesn't really wanna...

Frollo: [as Quasimodo towers over him] Now, now... L-Listen to me, Quasimodo...
Quasimodo: [heaving in gasping breaths] No, *you* listen! All my life, 你 have told me that the world is a dark, cruel place. But now I see that the only thing dark and cruel about it is people like you...

Frollo: Look at that disgusting display.
Phoebus: [raising his visor] Yes, sir!

Quasimodo: 你 are good to me master. I'm sorry.
Frollo: You're forgiven. But remember Quasimodo, this is your sanctuary.
[Frollo leaves]
Quasimodo: My sanctuary.

Brutish Guard: Minister Frollo, the gypsy has escaped.
Frollo: What?...
