I just finished watching Ducktales The Movie: Treasure of The 迷失 Lamp after all these years! I haven't seen it since I was like eight and after all these years it's incredible. I dreamed last night that I was one of the lead directors for a 迪士尼 movie. The story was basically The Little Mermaid but in reverse: young princess lives on land, wants to go to the sea, goes into the sea. As an artistic choice, I wanted the movie to be in the scratchy hand-drawn style of the Dark Age, her multiple visits to the ocean in the cleaned up Renaissance hand-drawn animation, then her going to live in the sea in CGI: to symbolize how her world keeps expanding. I just watched Beauty and the Beast and it is still my 最喜爱的 迪士尼 Princess movie. I don't know why, it just has a certain magic. The 爱情 story and the moral are beautiful. Ugh, lately on Tumblr and 潮流粉丝俱乐部 I've been hearing the phrase 'everything a princess should be' a lot, usually to describe Aurora 或者 Cinderella, or, less frequently, Snow White, and I really dislike it. I don't see why a princess has to 'be' anything special, the only thing that differentiates a princess from a commoner is the fact that her parents sit the 王座, 宝座 of some kingdom. I just finished watching Hercules and I honestly think it's fantastic! It's still my least 最喜爱的 of the Renaissance films but still in my 最佳, 返回页首 30 最喜爱的 迪士尼 movies. I just watched Mulan, so I'll sing praises to it. It's a great movie, probably my 6th favorite, fantastic, really. I liked the 更多 serious scenes over the comic ones, but these were good too. I watched 魔发奇缘 yesterday, so I'm going to ramble about it. I 爱情 that movie, it's sixth in my 最喜爱的 DP 电影院 list, I think. There were just some parts in th middle that I didn't like, because they gave that cliche adventure feel, like The Snuggly 小鸭 sequence. I went to see 阿拉丁 on Broadway tonight. !! I met Jonathan Freeman! The voice of Jafar in the 阿拉丁 电影院 and he played Jafar on Broadway! I just got back from seeing Divergent and it is freaking amazing! It's even better than Catching Fire! I just watched 花木兰 (live action) in Mandarin and this makes me want a 花木兰 live action from Disney. I'm really proud that my 列表 has basically remained unchanged every since Merida moved up on my 列表 :) There's been a little movement here and there, but for the most part it's remained untouched and I'm really happy with it at the moment :)
