I have just watched 《勇敢传说》 for the first time last night. I really like it! And Merida is great. It's refreshing because she doesn't get a 爱情 interest, it's about the mother and daughter relationship and she's an original princess not based of a fairytale 或者 folk tale 或者 historic princess. I like her personality, I like her voice, her hair, I like how heavy her accent is. I think she's my new favourite princess! I'm happy with the DP lineup, but I wish that 花木兰 and Pocahontas weren't really part of it. Instead, I think it would be totally amazing if they were part of a different marketing campaign of 迪士尼 Heroines. I'd 爱情 to see 更多 Meg, Esmeralda, and even Jane merchandise. I haven't seen any real proof yet but I hope it's true. I hope this time they'll actually make the movie about the entire family equally. Just watched Princess and the Frog for the first time in over a year... it's only the 2nd time I've watched it and it was a LOT better than I remembered. It's still nothing amazing but I enjoyed it so much more. I like Tiana 更多 than I thought, she's not amazing (nothing in the movie is IMO) but I think she's moved slightly up on my fav list.
