This is STILL here?!

I knew it. I knew this scene was going to win. I'll be shocked if it doesn't. What is so great about this scene? Yes, there's a big splash. WOW! Go to the ocean and you'll find a million splashes. The other scenes are so much more meaningful! In "I love you daddy" she comes to terms with her father. In "Part of Your World" she reveals what her dream is. Did I want either of those two to win? No, but I didn't want this one to, but I know it will. I don't get what's so fucking grand about this scene.

Today Is Gonna Be Your Last Day, Your Part Was Just Not Impressive Enough!

Like princesslullaby said, it's really just a splash. What is it with splashes? Many great scenes were voted out in favor of the two that are basically nothing but glamorized splashes. I mean, seriously, it took forever to get the transformation scene voted out. If this wins, I'm going to be pissed. I want Part of Your World to win, and I'd be satisfied if I Love You Daddy did. But this . . . no. Just no.

I love this it has to much emotion, love, and such a sweet father daughter moment but I don't think anything can compare to Ariel's singing I don't care if the original part of your world or the reprise I'd be happy no matter which one wins because their both my favorite

and Part of Your World Reprise isn't just the splash. it's her singing to Eric, and Grimsby finding him, and Sebastion being all *jawdrop*

^^Frankly, I think the splash is the biggest part of that scene. And I figure out my fav by animation+lyrics/dialogue+what happens in the scene. The animation is decent, I prefer Part of Your World to the reprise & "I Love You Daddy" has mere meaning IMO, and the happenings of the scene just don't interest me as much.

When I think of Part Of World Reprise I think of the actual song. It's so much happier the Part of your world because she feels her dream can come true.

I don't hate this song, I just think it's overrated, and I happen to like the other two MUCH more.

I agree with fhghu and VGfan30 completely!!! Part of Your World just drags too much... it's okay, but it's seriously sometimes thought of as one of the best Disney songs, which I don't really understand. I mean, I like all the other signature songs the DP sings better (maybe other than Almost There and Reflection). The reprise has that grandeur the original doesn't really have in my opinion, and Jodi Benson has a much more distinctive voice in the reprise. I like the normal one in other foreign language dubs better... but I don't care for Jodi's singing so much in the original, though she does a great job in the reprise. I can't believe Part of Your World is outlasting the "I Love You Daddy" scene, and outlasted the "Transformation"!
