Mulan's motivation was to safe her father's life and I deeply care for my elders' safety and health so I understand her very well and think that her motivation makes her completely innocent and not deserving of any kind of punishment( even being verbally judged or shamed). I don't care about breaking laws of her country, I am Neutral Good, not any kind of Lawful. Her extremely sympathetic( and extremely relatable) motivation means much more to me than law.
