Oh my god don't make me choose T_T I feel like Hermione is more rounded and a little more proactive than Belle, but I adore both!

Despite being somewhat aware of it's universe, I haven't actually seen/read HP.
I have a feeling I'd prefer Hermione to Belle, but I don't think I have quite enough information to actually decide.

Belle can be ok. Hermione is ruthless and I can't forgive what she did to Umbridge.

^didn't Umbridge torture students by literally making them write with their own blood? and then send a bunch of innocent muggleborns to Azkaban because she was one of the people who thought they shouldn't be considered witches and wizards? And wasn't she racist against creatures like mermaids, werewolves, etc? And isn't it mainly because of her that Remus Lupin couldn't get a job since he was a werewolf? And didn't she and a group of wizards attack Hagrid in the middle of the night? And didn't she send Dementors on Harry and Dudley and then almost use the torture curse on Harry?

Ironically the girl who played Hermione played Belle in the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast. :P

I love Hermione exactly because she has all these lovely virtues but also many flaws, she can be annoying and bossy and ruthless and stubborn etc, she's not just a smart competent girl, idk she feels very real to me, without ever becoming unlikeable or hard to root for.

I relate more to Hermione. She is both smart and loyal like Belle, but she has more character development that I didn't see with Belle.

So she deserves to be gang raped and lose her mind?? What the actual heck?

Snape psychologically screwed Neville up permanently. Does he deserve torture too?

This is a really tough choice. I think I love Hermione a bit more, but they are both awesome.
