Original version or Once Upon a Time. I also like the Shrek version. I wish that the Maleficent movie was about Aurora and it would have expanded her character and we would be able to see more of her personality as they did with the Cinderella live action movie.

I was going to add the Keys to the Kingdom version of Aurora but I figured that counts as the Disney version so I didn't add it. That version is the only one I love because she actually has an appealing and three-dimensional personality (I even wrote an article analyzing her). I like the Elle Fanning version because of how Elle actually adds personality and depth to a character that is otherwise written very flat. I also like Sleeping Beauty in the Shrek movies, I'm aware of the true nature of Briar Rose and it seems like a really interesting twist (Though I've heard bad things about the movie), the Disney version (Aside from the Keys to the Kingdom version) is BORING with no personality, and I can't stand the Once Upon a Time version. She's such a spoiled, entitled, whiny, and annoying little brat.

^Yeah the movie was terrible. I think the Briar Rose twist would have been better if they revealed it better.

If you guys thought Hans' villain reveal was out of nowhere and stupid, you need to watch The Curse of Sleeping Beauty

I definitely like the idea of the twist with Briar Rose better than I did the execution from what I've read about the way it was revealed. The character of Sleeping Beauty was never one that was fascinating or full of character, which is why adaptations of the story try to focus on other characters as the protagonist instead of her. So the idea of her being a beautiful but evil and demonic creature is an interesting idea but they did it poorly. I even watched clips of it and it really was done so bad.

Never watch the curse of sleeping beauty i , i dont like that much her personality in OUAT's version. I m not a fan of elle's version for me she add nothing special to the character. Also Aurora even if she didnt have a lot of screentime in the original had elegance and charisma that i didnt Saw in elle's interpretation.

seriously, KataraLover, you don't want to watch this movie. It is soooooooo bad
