Awww Oh, Snap! Quiz Retro Silly Whoa Yum
We see Disney everywhere, so it’s no surprise that real women are constantly reminding us of our favorite Disney Princesses. And when so many of our girl crushes have similar spirit, grace, and fairy-tale stories, who can blame us? It was hard to settle on just one lady for each princess, but we did it because we love you. Read on for our list of Disney Doppelgangers: Princess Edition:
Lupita is a smart, savvy, talented lady who worked hard to make her dreams come true… not unlike our girl Tiana. When you throw in the fact that both of them look absolutely stunning in light blue, it becomes patently obvious that Lupita is the real-life version of Princess Tiana.
The sass! The spirit! The amazing red hair and big blue eyes we all wish we had! English model and actress Lily Cole is basically Merida come to life.
Get this: a girl born in Pennsylvania beats all odds to become a world famous movie star, and then marries an actual prince and becomes Princess of Monaco. Grace Kelly’s beauty, poise, and incredible story cements her in our minds as the real-life Cinderella.
Mary Donaldson may or may not have grown up singing “Someday My Prince Will Come,” but the fact remains that she was just a lovely, normal girl until she met her husband, Prince Frederik of Denmark, in a pub. A pub. Here she is wearing a Snow White-like headband (in her hair dark as night, no less) and winning the trust and adoration of penguins. That’s all the evidence we need.
Besides sharing an uncanny resemblance with our favorite dynasty-saving heroine, Lucy Liu is also incredibly hardworking and talented, just like Mulan. (Note that Lucy also performs many of her own stunts in her movies. No one gets down to business like Lucy.)
We’ll be honest: we’re not sure if Amanda Seyfried’s hair is magical or not. Regardless, her quirky charm, determination to follow her dreams, and gorgeous green eyes make her a real-life Rapunzel if we’ve ever seen one.
Smart, poised, gorgeous… all words we would use to describe both Freida and Jasmine. The actress’ gorgeous brown eyes, perfect smile, and ability to rock a hairstyle make her a dead ringer for Princess Jasmine.
Emma dreamed of becoming part of another world—Hollywood, specifically—and didn’t let anything stop her from making it happen… which reminds us of another redhead we know. Luckily, Emma didn’t have to make a trade with a sea witch to become the hilarious actress we all know and love. Instead she just made a PowerPoint presentation to convince her parents to let her move to California. Did we mention she was fifteen? Such Ariel-like moxie. We love it.
We can never watch Allison Williams on tv without thinking immediately of Belle. We’re not sure if it’s the hair, the face shape, the smile, the smarts, or the fact that we just really love both of them, but there’s something uncanny going on here.
Aurora and Scarlett are both classic beauties with an air of mystery about them. One grew up in a cottage in the woods, and the other grew up in a Manhattan apartment, but neither could have known what life really had in store for them. Plus, they both have gorgeous singing voices.
Shay and Pocahontas share a gorgeous skin tone, enormous eyes, and bone structure most of us can only dream of. While Shay’s ombre hair is slightly more modern than Pocahontas’ long dark locks, we bet the colors of the wind would blow Shay’s around just as perfectly. These ladies are also brave, compassionate, and principled—we look up to both of them so much.
