花木兰 had studied for all of her exams. She was ready to get the best grades possible. She didn't want her parents to be disappointed in her.


She went to school. She was talking to her friend Jasmine.


"I'm going to do the best I can on these exams. I studied all night last night." 花木兰 told Jasmine.


"You're really determined. Why?"


"I really want to bring some honor to my family."


"That's all?"


"What to 你 mean 'that's all'?"


"They don't get angry 或者 something if 你 get bad grades?"


"No. But they get disappointed."


"Then who cares?"


"I do."

My parents almost named me Anna because my mom thinks it is jus beautiful. The reason they didn't was because it sounded horrible with my last name! 你 would either have to say my whole name with a British accent 或者 a Redneck one, it just didn't work! :P Anyway if I had a different last name I would want my name to be Anna, it sounds so pretty and rolls off the tongue so prettily :)
